Seasonal Weather

Dubai has a sub-tropical and arid climate; sunny blue skies and high temperatures can be expected most of the year.  Rainfall is infrequent and irregular, falling mainly in winter (November to March) Temperatures range from a low of around 10 degreec C (50 F) in winter, to a high of 48 degrees C (118F) in summer (June to August).  There are occasional sandstorms when the sand is whipped up off the desert by the 'Shamal' wind.  Surprisingly, winter mornings can be foggy, but by mid-morning, the sun invariably burns the cloud away.  Summer humidity can be as high as 100%, so be prepard to sweat !
