Safa Park
Set up in 1975, this 64-hectare park is one of the
oldest in the city. Nature and technology go
hand in hand here. Prominent features include
electronic games parlor, rides - ferris wheel,
maze, bumper cars and paddle boats, jogging
track, tennis courts, volleyball, football and
basketball areas and 21 barbecue sites amongst
many kids play areas. All these
are set in a beautiful natural setting
with a waterway,
lake and waterfall
Location:
Between the second interchange on Sheikh Zayed
Road and Al Wasl Road, opposite Metropolitan
Hotel.
Entry:
Dhs 3 per person.
Time:
7:30 am to 10:30 p.m. daily. Tuesdays - women
and children only.
