Mushrif Park
This 124 hectare park ideal for picnics
as well as bird watching for it is a shelter for rare birds like Orphean
Warbler, eastern Black Redstart,
Yellow-throated Sparrow, Bruce's Scops Owl and
Hoopoe, which nest in the park. It is a
natural ghaf '(Prosopis cinerarea) forest that
has started attracting large crowds with its
quality facilities like swimming pools,
fountain and lakes, children’s play areas,
train, camel and pony rides and good roads
connecting it to the main areas. The Ethiopian
hedgehog and miniature houses from different
countries at the International Garden are an
added attraction.
Location:
Al Awir Road, about 12 kms from the Dubai
International Airport.
Entry:
Dhs 2 per person / Dhs 10 per vehicle.
Swimming
pools (separate men’s and women’s) : Dhs 10 per adult and Dhs
5 per child. Membership, with swimming
training included in the fee, -Dhs 380 per
annum per family.
Time:
8:00 am and 10:30 p.m. Sat - Wed, and to 11:30
p.m. on Thursday/Friday
