Creekside Park
The extensive 96-hectare garden features the
traditional falaj
irrigation system and 280 botanical
displays set in a floral backdrop. The park
occupies the area up to 2.6 kms along the
lakeshore. A children’s play area, train,
walking and jogging tracks, barbecue sites,
amphitheater with seating for 1,200 people,
information booth, 18 hole mini-golf course, 3
jetties for fishing and exit points for abras
(boat trips are to be introduced at a later
date), two restaurants and a number of kiosks
for refreshments are the features.
The entry for the park, which is located between Al
Maktoum and Al Garhoud Bridges on the Bur
Dubai side, is from behind Dubai Courts.
