Dubai has been described as 'Party Capital of the Gulf', with enough choice to keep the most ardent socialite happy. In Dubai, people generally go out late (after 9pm) and most Arabic restaurants and nightclubs are very quiet before 11pm! Wednesdays and Thursdays is when most peoples's wekend starts, but with promotions and special nights (such as Ladies Nights), many bars and restaurants are busy during week. Cafes and restaurants generally close between 11pm and 1am, but most bars and nightclubs are open until 3am.
