Dubai
Port Authority is one of the leading trans-shipment
centres in the world, with over 150 shipping lines
calling at these ports regularly.
Its main feature is the Container handling
facility. Ranked
as one of the most modern facilities in the world in
containerized cargo handling , DPA takes the least time in Air to Sea
trans-shipment
of cargoes most efficiently and safely.
From
2000 to 2001 there has been a 19 % increase in
container traffic handled at the
Dubai Port Authority.
